What are your hours?
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. We do not close for lunch. All federal and Jefferson County Commissioner's approved holidays are observed.

Do I need an appointment?
No, just walk in and we will do our best to assist you.
How do I file a motion, petition, or other notice or document?
We currently accept filings in person, by fax at 740-283-8585, or by mail; FedEx, UPS, or any other courier.
How can I look up my case online?
If you need IMAGES from November 2019 to current or Dockets from May 1995 to current,
If you need IMAGES prior to November 2019 with records beginning around 1910,

What payment methods do you take?
We accept cash, money orders, or business checks. We also have an online payment system available for a 5% fee, minimum $3.00. We do not take payments over the phone or accept personal checks.
What forms are available in your office?

Notary Public
The Jefferson County Clerk of Courts Office no longer processes notaries. They are now acquired through the Secretary of State of Ohio.
